इस ग्रंथ में 1,975 मंत्रों का संग्रह है, जिसमें मुख्य जोर पूजा विधियों- यज्ञ, संस्कार और भजन पर दिया गया है। यजुर्वेद के दो मुख्य समूह हैं, शुक्ल यजुर्वेद (श्वेत यजुर्वेद) और कृष्ण यजुर्वेद (काला यजुर्वेद)। यह आध्यात्मिकता के गहरे रहस्यों के साथ अनुष्ठान करने के सही तरीकों को उजागर करके एक मार्गदर्शक के रूप में कार्य करता है।
